I had a lot of fun painting the little details like her jewelry and clothes. Now I see why Wlop likes to draw Aeolian so much LOL! There's a lot of designs you can do with jewelry. Once I get better at drawing metals, you bet it will be all over my art

There's a lot of debate about Jasmine's ethnicity...I've heard that she's Arab, Persian, or Indian. I'm not sure which one she is, but her headpiece was inspired by Pakistani jewelry. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that the real Aladdin from The Thousand and One Nights is Chinese and not Arab!

Which version of Aladdin do you like best--the cartoon or live adaptation? I thought the setting and costumes for the live action were beautiful...although every time I think of that movie I'm reminded of my first speeding ticket on the way home...
