I like the shading you did on this! You might want to invest some time looking into adobe Illustrator. In my experiences you can get this same look without as much effort.

The big thing would be the pen tool [link] Also it would be impotent to understand the programs use of color [link] and finally the way (at least way I do it) of shading is to duplicate the original outlined base colored object (control/command c{with it selected} + control/command f {past in front}) then use the pen tool to draw where you want the shadows. You can then use this tutorial [link] with the copied object that the shadow object.
I've thought about this artwork and I have two things That I want to add that I didn't say before. Firstly I like cowcoholic am suppressed that you didn't use a more vector based program to make this. This isn't a bad thing it's just the look for your style. (You might or might not find Illustrator easier). The second thing I would like to compliment you on would be your choice of colors... They look very good together. You obviously have a better sense of color then I do

Really nice Juri. My only consideration would be the black eyelashes, because its a lot darker than all the other darks in the pic. Even the darkest shades of her dark hair are brown. But this is a really nice work overall!!!

well, I don't think the black eyelashes are wrong and HAVE to be avoided... the thing is just that in this case, it's the only black spot in the pick, and i think it's a bit out of the rest of the painting. one option would be making darker tones, but since your work style seems very vivid, you can use some kind of brown or gray to make it... well, in the end, these are just opinions! As I said before, the work is really great

beat the game playing as Dan on Hardest without dying once and getting the ultra/perfect requirements got Gouken. Beat gouken with a super combo and juri will come to fight you.

I've got to admit I despised her the first time I seen her just from looking at a snapshot of her from the game, and even more when I seen her in the trailer. I thought, "Finally, someone that will make me like C. Viper, and forget about HER lameness."
Now I'm noticing there's a definite potential for me to begin liking her, if they make her a psycho bitch (something pretty original for these things) like she looks like she might turn out to be, instead of what I think she might also turn out to be like. There are plenty of mean, viscious, psychotic, and even EVIL characters in Street Fighter, but they're all male. Actually giving a FEMALE character a personality (psychotic) instead of what they usually do with female characters, and add a strong (not cheesy) and unique fighting style, and she might even become my TOP favorite female character! Here's hoping she's crazy, and she's a good character to play with, because that will really compliment the awesome experience of finally getting to play Adon again!
