An obvious horror motif..but feels more intimidating because of the technique..more organic..as if alive..the jaw reflection makes look like its completing itself..and the lighting seems to come from it rather than at it

well, yes, and an artist puts some of those parts on screen, and if the viewer feels it, then it's good art... no matter what symbology... you always do that
