The Kong Family! I loved Donkey Kong 64. Tiny Kong, Lanky Kong, and Chunky Kong always made nice additions and that some were direct relatives to the ones whom came by later in the DKC trilogy. ^_^

Beautiful. Parts of Banana Fairy Island and the Bananaport pad being seen on the sides is a very nice touch. Whole image has me feeling all nostalgic for the game.

64 was my favorite DK game ever! It had the best cast, humor, bosses, levels, and B-K style music. Rare! Please port this on the Wii over virtual console, but not the DS. I'm not saying Diddy Kong Racing was bad on the DS, but it lacked a few graphics, and had lousy voice acting.

i got this game for Christmas 1999 along with my Nintendo 64. it was the special Donkey Kong edition N64 with Jungle Green color and jungle green controller 
I still love playing DK64 on the old N64 sometimes. I mean, who doesn't like vast adventure and finding secrets of the game

well done! funny thing is i jsut started beating DK 64 yesterday... and i only just got chunky and a bunch of his moves ( hunky chunky, Primate punch, the triangle, and the pineapple launcher )

It's funny, though. I just picked it up the other day and remembered how... frustrating getting those last bananas is. For this picture, I think I like the background better than the monkeys. It's not that the characters are bad, mind you, but that the water and sand effects are excellent.
