Description
My Toyger needed some attention. Decided to color these poses, probably which will become premades.Done in Adobe Photoshop CS2 with tablet. My own cats posed for these.

oh man i had to avoid giving to many intricate patterns on my tigers cuz id obsess over the pattern cheetahs are the only ones i dont do that for i just go with the flow of the marks.

right after i mentioned the cheetah comment i noticed i did that multiple times for 2 characters.

Yup. It's a breed of cat that is being bred to look like a small tiger.

First time I saw those, I looked at my own cat's markings and thought, I bet the breeders woulda love to have a kitty like her in the lineage. She has that sort of "wild" pattern, and she's just a barn kitty.

As my understanding, that's where Toygers started. It was a stray or homeless kitty with a unique pattern. Actually, more I find out, a lot of American breeds are like that.

Yeah, which is kinda nice that they've started doing that sort of thing as opposed to going all crazy inbreeding. >.< Dog breeds sadly haven't seemed to be cured of that though. Bleh.
But yeah, my kitty has that kinda wild look, eyespots on the ears, and a few of her stripes start to "braid" all tigerlike. lol

Maybe she is a Bengal? They have some unusual markings.

Nope. Just a barn cat. Total "mutt". I watched her be born in my parents' barn 12 years ago. <3
