Edit: Fixed the lighting, fixed the head and tried to fix the focal points.I really need to do more to this but with so many other things I need to finish I figured I'd post it now and get back to it later. I really want to move away from pin-up type work for now anyway.
Heavily inspired by works by `loish and =MichelleHoefener
Wonky anatomy is intentional.
Originally started as an oil painting then drawn over digitally.

Oh, I love the improvements. I save my favorite deviantART pieces to my computer (since I have so many favorites on dA itself) to look back on, so I actually had the original for comparison. I really enjoy the new highlights/lighting especially.

Lovin' the texture on the tips of her fin, especially outside the border on the left of the image. There's a funny little tangent going with the bottom border and the curve of her tail, but I'm sure you know that. I need to work like this sometime soon. It's a really nice composition.

Even though you mentioned it's not finished, I love the design so far. The fins coming right off of the head, and her slinky arms give her that great sort of "creepy" feeling, like she could take you down lol :3

Thank you! I did want her to look creepy so I'm glad you got that impression rather then that she just has a poorly drawn figure or something lol.
But yeah, she's a dangerous lady, when you're not looking she might try to shank ya with a mackerel...which I'm pretty sure is impossible...but she'd have a way to do it, cuz that's just how she rolls.
