Cute pose (^_^) For the background, what I usually do when I use a picture is that I put it throught a filter like "Underpainting Effect" or "Small Brushes Effect" so that it looks more like an anime background than like a picture, that way, it blends better with the character you draw
And for links, just paste the full url (with http://) of the image (if you found it on the web) in the authors comments and it will appear like [link] or if it's one of your pictures, you can upload it on Photobucket and then send the link
