This is connected with the past of a my fantasy story with Danarion (it's past, so you can see he survived xD )
I don't want to spoil here what happened, but Danarion was young, with just few experiences in battle. He went through paladin school, and had huge potential as a warrior and paladin. But very soon he realized, that real fight if much tougher than training, and not everyone is fighting with honor of a knight and warrior of light. Since this experience with being almost killed in battle he decided to instead of honorable fight concentrate on survival fight, tho he's still sometimes trying to keep some knight standarts.
Raysim delivered Danarion to the fortress, but about a week later stallion died due infected injuries that he got in the battle.
