Description
This is a representation of Claudia from Interview with the Vampire. I tried to make her younger than Kirsten Dunst was in the movie, because in the book she's much younger. However I don't think I succeeded very well. Two roses, light for Lestat, dark for Louis.Ballpoint (black, as always), November 19, 2003.

I realise I just committed one of the things I consider most ungrateful and irritating, on dA, the 'thank you' response.
I apologise in depth for the insult! It was a comment meant in the most sincere fashion.
I don't get much publicity on this website, especially for my non-coloured drawings (which I feel are some of the best.) And I think that the ballpoint media is fascinating and deserves a great deal more attention than it recieves.

It is no problem at all.
I agree completely.

why light for lestat and dark for louis though? how long into her death is this for if she has a flower for each then obviously it could be no more than 40 or 50 years at the most.
claudia was supposed to be about 5 in this she looks around 7 but considering that in the film kirsten looked about 8-10 its very good
as for claudia herself in this i think its a beautiful picture with a beautiful dress, but she looks too natural until you look at it in large view when you see hands are a little blockish but the fact she is not wearing gloves and yet holding tightly onto the rose -thorns!!!.

Lestat is light because he's blonde, and in the books you may remember he thought of himself...almost as a god. Louis with his beautiful dark good looks and sombre outlook on himself and the undead life.
I know the proportions are ghastly, and the hands and feet are especially bad. But I am really pleased with the dress, and her hat. Little girls are definately a challenge. This is not a recent work at all, which also explains the badness. ^^
Thanks for your love, I appreciate it so much!
