It's so nice to have these portraits of family; thanks for sharing this! It reminds us of the actual human beings who expereinced all of this and puts a face onto what we read in the history books.

Vielen Dank forthe videos! I love the first one, "Berlin 1935 in Farbe", but the second one was a strange mixture. The scenes very sad, but the music happy;Ein echter Kontrast!

My apologies, but it's good that you honour his memory.
My great-great uncle died in Italy in 1944. This sort of reminds me of him (even though I never met him.)

Well, even if he was in the wrong party ( from the POV today ), he´s part of the family. And WWII is also part of the history.

Hmmm i see from all the comments in here, many of their great grandfather or their relatives died in the ostenfront. and great grandfather too.
