This is still a WIP-There are quite a few obvious places where I need to go and re touch.BUT. This is the Old Bear of the Mountain. He's a very secluded beast, and likes to hide away in the rocky hills, thinking. As he thinks, he likes to knit stockings from his mane. He's a creative old soul.
PSCS3, maybe 15 hours or so... Pencil sketch scanned in.

Awesome work here! I like how the lion looks grumpy/narky and yet there's someting to the expression saying that he's slightly lonely... or perhaps that's just what i'm getting from the piece.
I'm worried that the stockings may be a slightly niche' market though... with people having allergies to felines and all.

What a neat character! I love the way it blends in with the environment. It would be neat if the hair flowed into the contours of the rocks or something to make it more a part of that hill.
