While hiking in the woods I came across this small gryphon. It seems to be a miniature breed, small for its kind, but no less fierce. He had a broken wing and looked rather disheveled so I took him home to care for him. Now he is in top fighting form and ready to find a new home, though he still has a wild and disheveled look to him. Never fear, he is completely tame. Well... sort of. I recommend keeping your fingers away from his beak and not making any sudden movements.

Looking back on Instagram I first posted pictures of the painted head sculpt on the 22nd of August of last year so it's perfect timing to finally go back to this project and finish it up.
At first I was really frustrated with how disheveled the fur and feather were turning out, but now that I see it all together with the fierce face and large feet I think it fits perfect and looks super fierce.
