Description
If you look to the left you will see the first dinosaurs on our tour, Dilophosaurus. We now know Dilophosaurus looked nothing like the small, pygmy, frilled Jurassic Park incarnation that dominated our childhood. In actuality Dilophosaurus was a six meter theropod BADASS, weighing in at half a tone!Yes, I watched that movie so much as a kid that even to this day I can recite half the script off the top of my head.

Very nice! Shame it's not actually frilled, it looked REALLY cool with frills.

indeed! It's intimidating enough on a little frill neck lizard, let alone a six foot carnivorous beast. It certainly was a nice bit of creative licence on Michael Crichton's part.
