Imitation's dancing there:colbalt eyes and bleach-white hair.
One could buy those anywhere.
Chemicals bronzed her tight skin.
She won't eat and she is thin,
only thinking about men.
Scantily dressed in bold clothes,
she's pitiful, all she shows...
and I wonder if she knows.
Imitation's alloyed grace
and her hollow made-up face
make this young girl a disgrace.
While I watched her dancing there,
hazel eyed and honey-haired,
I felt a pang of dispair.
Although she's not genuine,
I hated my pallid skin.
Between our looks, who would win?
There's no contest, I'm no show...
So I'll turn and let it go;
Beauty's not the world, you know?
The frauds always have their place;
look behind the plastic face.
Heh, it's such a fucking waste.

Life's like a bannana.
Its all wet and squishy inside,
but nicely coated in yellow outside,
and if you just left it like that you could be happy,
but only if you peel away the clean fascade and got dirty,
could you enjoy the sweet taste and of that inside,
which you seem to bring out every time I see your words,
and thus meet your mind.

the thing is imagine what she has to go through to maintain that illusion, how intesnes and sad it is that she believes that will save her and bring her love and respect.
while she is hateful, she is also pityiful

yeah ur right...i truly hate ppl like that, and there r so many of em round here...however i wudnt say u were by any means unnattractive, personally i think ur gorgeous, inside and out. good poem this, like the rhyme scheme, and i liked 'honey-haired' especially.
