Description Me, a year ago, at a track meet. I look quite shorter and fatter in this picture than I ever care to be again... it's just a little bit of a different photo of me. Perhaps this type of behavior is why my coach called me "too prissy for organized sports." pfft... ballet is an organized sport to me.

Apparently visible ribs are bad... . I'm not much for appearance though.

Fatter? You look awfully thin from here. Is this is "fat you", then "thin you" must have visible ribs...

Thin (current) me does have visible ribs... i'm less flabby now though. it's a good feeling.

If I may be so frank, I don't think a healthy person should have visible ribs. Of course, I haven't seen thin you, so it's not my place to judge; I'm just offering an opinion which you're free to consider or ignore as you see fit.

And personally, I like flab, but that's just me.

That's fine... I really am too thin. My body's devout of all curves, but I'm trying to build muscle instead of fat.

As long as you're in good health.
I was afraid I was on the cusp of offending, or that you were anorexic. (I've had bad experiences with anorexic girls)

nah, i've been lectured too many times about anorexia to be dumb enough to do that. Even after being a ballerina of 11 years, I still love my food. thanks for being concerned.

Do what, be anorexic or take offense?

be annorexic, of course. that causes more mental damage than physical... they can almost always cure the body, but the mental effects are lifelong... dangerous stuff.

Indeed. Oh, by the way, the picture that originally sparked this whole conversation is a good piece of art. I think I forgot to mention that originally.

Are there any current self-portraits of you in your gallery, to draw a comparison from?

[link] this pic, and the one i used as the preview for my poem "eliza"[link] are pretty accurate depictions of me... they were taken in november. for pictures taken of me when i was sick last week, go to ~guitar-dude 's [link] gallery.
