I have the same problem with bands that sing in Swedish. It doesn't sound so good many times. Since I don't know german too good I guess I don't have a problem with that
But on the other hand, if I translate a song with english lyrics to Swedish I can promise that 90% they would appear as mentally challenged.

I guess there are at least two different sorts of music listeners: one listens more to the rhythm and melody and the other one follows more the lyrics without carrying much about the first ones (and those tend to listen only their own language)Β ... The last book I read was Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds. After I read the first chapters I wentΒ and bought the rest of the books in that series. So the rest of the books are on my prio list now.

I dont know if you have played the mass effect games but I felt that the storyline for those games have borrowed some of the elements from Revelation Space. (And I love both).

that's something that no one really knows ... it depends on you how you want to understand it and how you're interpreting itΒ ... you can read it as a novel or you can read it as something philosophical or as kind of shamanistic tutorial,Β peyote ...
