I'm actually quite satisfied with this one. :] This would be my first try just...digitally drawing it but without outlines, and going with more of a realistic look. It actually looks pretty decent.

First try? Yeah sure. This looks like you've been doing it for a while! I must say though, wonderful job! I enjoy your use of colors! And the 'less is more' cliche actually worked miracles for the nose. Superb job for expression the dimensions of the face through color! The skin tone is brilliant. My only caveat is the hair, though I like the depth perception done with parts of the hair. The eyes are gorgeous. Unreal work.

I just went with it bc I see ppl do portraits and drawings without outlines and it look sooooo good.
