Sort of a sequel to [link]on the other side of the barrier? am I still me? will I make it? will I be healed and restored?
Or maybe I'm ... dead?

What exactly it means is up to the viewer! I have my own interpretation, of course, but I don't think it's the only valid one. I like it if the viewer can put his own meaning to the pic.

you REALLY know how to present light and dark for maxium effect; the small amount of highliting on the side of his head adds the figure some form but the silluet against the sheer, blinding white. the theam an image work perfectly together aswell... although the uncertinty of justr what it i he's walking into remains.

Another wonderfully made piece here! Like the last one, it's simple in its shadows, yet it tells so much and describes so much emotion! Shadows, if you ask me, are difficult to do because you don't have the advantage of details to show what you want to show. But here, you managed to pull it off without details and hell, it nearly looks like a real person at this point!

I find shadows easier to work with, for some strange reason. A long-running complaint about my own work is that it's too bright
