Description
These are double page spreads from a book I produced based on 'urban regeneration' (Which got nicked from Uni! Gutted!)They are a mix of hand rendered work, screen prints and digital experimentation all done in PhotoshopCS.
Basic design for deviation IllustratorCS.

It was a huge series of about 30or more square 20x20cm prints, that started life as screen prints of photographs I took around manchester, based on the theme of Urban Re-generation.
They were then manipulated in photoshop utilising hand drawings and other collage bits that were scanned in, all really experimental, even the ones that didnt quite work looked cool.
Just a shame It got nicked as i made it into a really cool book.

I really really like this image. I don't know anything about digital art. I mean, I only know how to manipulate the images I take with my camera, but i can't create anything new with the computer. Anyway, I guess everyone knows when they like something or hate it, when something appeals to them, when something is good or great, even if good or bad, speaking about art, of course, is subjective. I don't know what I'm saying. All this stupid words are just a way to tell you that this image is great! I loved it! The colours, the composition, the font, the title...
I wonder why people hate cranes... it's obvious they're cool!

Just as there are so many images (only 12 are shown but i have at least another 40) I quickly mocked them up onto a simple board design. The font is just to show the title of the work, its nothing to do with the images. But glad you like them, had fun producing them all
