Reminds me of our local sax guy. He can play pretty well and he at least tries to be original. The trumpet player just puts out little familiar tunes everyone recognizes like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and such. It's nice to go heard sax guy playing because I may not recognize the tune but I like the music.

Well, this guy goes for familiar tunes as well, I don't think he's any good anymore, but the vigour with which he plays is captivating

Extraordinary capture. The colours, the composition, the pose of the saxophone player all make it look retro and classic, as though from an old movie. It feels like the beginning of the XX century, and yet it was taken now! And there is a lot of emotion in it... great work.

I like especially the light of this photo, and the contures or edges - they are bright and visible, but not too much. It makes me feel like in a empty place... and there is HIM, the saxofonist...

so... okay here's a question... do you just take peoples pictures randomly, do you get their permission, or do you hide off in the shadows and then just take a snap when no one's lookin'... just out of curiousity... XD... haha... and very nice picture btw.... i like how it turned out...

It depends, sometimes friends come to me, asking if I can take a picture of them. In case of this guy, he is pretty used to getting photographed, so he even poses a bit during playing. No hiding, I'm a bit too space consuming to be able to hide well:-D
