Description
One of the last life drawings done in class last year. This is another of my favorites, I think it's quite pleasing to look at. Done in charcoal.Details: [link] [link] [link]

Love the shade work. Was it scaled down. And remind me to tell you a story about one of my figure drawing classes involving a "she" that wasn't really a she.

Er, what I meant was how big was the original drawing
HAH! Well... We were set to draw this "girl". "She" was kinda in a position with her legs to the side where I should be able to see genetalia. I get about down to that part and I start getting the feeling that something is seriously off. I'm squinting and trying to figure out what. So we take a break, the person comes back and sits down. It dawns on me. It's a tranny who had TUCKED HIS DICK INTO HIS ASS. Naturally, I inquire about this to him when we're finished. Apparently he was in the middle of his operation (had tits and all). And that was my tranny drawing adventure. Gawd I hope I still have that picture.

I hope S'he comes back this semester
Did you scan or take a picture? My main dilemma is that I can't get good pictures of my bigger pieces, so I always inquire.

I took a picture with my digicam. I would've had to scan it in sections and piece it together. That would've sucked considering I uploaded almost 30 of them!

Looks pretty good, I'd never get even lighting when I tried with mine, that or it would be blurry. Hopefully I'll have better luck with this newer one. These all look pretty even and clear.

That's why buying an expensive camera is worth it! I shot it by a window, so it had some natural light. They worked best with the flash on as well.

Hmm, I usually shy away from the flash and try to add a little natural light. When I shot outside in natural light it greyed things over a bit. Of course, my pieces are usually pretty glossy (oil and acrylic tend to do that). Yea, I just dropped 300+ on a canon this X-mas. Its proving to be pretty nice so far.

I've got a cannon too. I wish I could've afford an even better one.. Haha, how greedy I am. Mine is the powershot IS 2..or something like that.

I think I spent 2 days on each pose. So a total of 4 days for the whole thing, about 2 hours a day.

Ah this one is beautiful. I love the pose on the right. The contours of the muscles and skin are shaded so well. You truly are a fantastic artist miss.
