That game is perhaps one of the most unusual experiences I have ever had in all my years of playing video games. It was certainly an interesting and original take, even though I personally didn't enjoy it all that much (it felt awful repetitive to me).
You did a great job on the shading, merging the pencil lines with the flat cell shading. Keep it up!

I have vague memories of the show from when I was a little kid, and haven't read the book except for the last couple of pages when I saw it in a shop.

Ooh, and thanks for posting the clips from the musical: I hadn't seen them before. I'm pretty sure it was turned into a ballet, too; it came to Houston, which is close to where I live, but I never got to see it.

Awww, it wants so badly to be good! I really like the music, and some of the scenes are really sweet...but some are way too over the top. The kids faces as stars? And the rose's hair? And the kids' birds remind me of the Olympics when everybody got mad about the doves dying and they had to have paper ones. Creepy.

I've seen the cartoon before actually. I can forgive it because it's what introduced several of my friends to the story when they were young (though I didn't see it when I was young, oddly enough...)
I really wish the opera was better, on account of it's English! But I think I'm going to stick to the French musical version, personally.

Agreed. Although, I have a hard time distinguishing between operas and sung-through musicals. Do you know, is the french one sung-through, or is there plain spoken dialogue? I couldn't tell from the clip.

There's a whole lot of spoken dialogue. I've been gathering all the tracks from the CD that I can off of Limewire (not a very easy task!) and many of them are just spoken word. Have you seen some of the other clips on Youtube? They're well worth seeing. They're all in my favorites, so if you can find me (I'm Artoveli there too) you can have them all in one place (though you'll have to go back a ways in my favorites because I found them a while ago). Or you could just search for Le Petit Prince and find them yourself

The Little Prince has a fandom? I have to go find it now! My dad has a copy of it, and I was looking at the pictures in the story before I could read it. (There's no way that dumb sheep ate the rose, by the way.)

You know, the prince could always make a strap. Tie it in the back with cloth or something. I refuse to ever believe that the rose gets eaten.

Have you seen the french musical version? It's amazing. I'd love to see all of it, but I've only been able to find scattered clips on YouTube. I also haven't seen any clips with subtitles, but it follows the book pretty much word-for-word so it's not so bad. Check our some clips!

The costumes for the rose and the fox were perfect. Oh, and the king is sufficiently silly and "childish" in that way only certain adults seem capable of.
