Happy BIRTHDAY !!Because she has been on the BSN and a Fenris fan since like.. day one and before! So, my humble offering to her for her B-DAY!
And now everyone -- including my Gwenya Hawke is jelly of Ageha -- "Hey move over and make room under that blanket!!"

This was the picture that DID NOT WANT TO BE DRAWN!
I looked a bajillion years for a reference I liked. I wanted something romantic and sweet, and yet fitting of Fenris too. I finally got a pose reference from [link]
Of course that picture is way better than anything I can do, but I loved the pose.
The butterfly was a random google search of "butterfly tattoo" LOL.

I am disapointed with my Fenris in this one. I just.. I must have started and redrawn his face like at least 50 times and every time something looks "wrong" to me. I finally chalked it up to the fact that he never actually has his head tilted that way in game. I just used a bajillion Fenris face screenshots references to "wing it."
I should never "wing" things -- -- like the underoos and the anatomy and the markings...
Those... markings... *dies* -- so hard to draw..
Anyways once again I am not satisfied with this one. It's also why I don't do commissions -- as much as I torment and agonize on my own works, when I draw for someone else it is worse, LOL.
I'm too much of a perfectionist for this art thing
Oh well... hope everyone enjoys the nekkid Fenris .. Muahahah.. his nakedness kept distracting me. So did those eyes

Hee your posting same time as me! I'm so glad you like it! I hope I did Ageha justice. She was fun to draw. I love that butterfly tattoo. I didn't know her favorite colors or yours so I went with red and green to match Fenris's eyes, LOL.

Now that is a compliment indeed! Fenris takes some time for some people. I was a fan from his entrance scene in the game. Haven't looked back since. He is a type of character that just "clicks" with me. Then again I also loved Morrigan and a lot of people didn't like her either. I love that taciturn, hardened, yet underneath it all is something worth getting to know, type characters.

I looooved Morrigan, first moment to last. So isn't this strange? Heh, Fenris reminded me of an extra-bitter Heero Yuy. Now I loved Heero Yuy. Swore up and down when I was in 5th grade that I was going to marry him. They were both stoic and hard warriors, but Fenris was angry at everything and, in the beginning, a bit emo. Not that he didn't have good reason to be. But initially, as a tank, I didn't care for him... so I didn't play with him. Therefore, I didn't like him. Then my second play-through, I used him a lot more, tried to use everyone equally, and got to know him better. Then I realized, sometime in Act 2, he really comes around. Then I started liking him more. As a romance, eh. I just couldn't imagine. But these photos (like yours) make me want to try a romance myself!

Oh my.. if that is your problem with him then you definitely should try a friendship romance. He can be truly sweet, and he has such great character growth and development.
I cringe when people say "emo." I really do. He isn't emo - he is angsty, broody. He is at war with himself, trying to find a role in the world and at the same time very, very guarded. I spend way too much time analyzing Fenris, LOL. He has such capacity for emotion, and his romance is to die for. Honestly, those lines and scenes are toe curling, and beautifully written. His romance is my favorite of them all. Of course a lot of people give up on it at the 3 year gap. I just.. I can't. I sympathize with him too much. I know how those 3 years must go down. Still, I am atypical, LOL. Always have been. Yet I can say his romance made me appreciate his growth and character a lot more. Just getting his friendship max is rewarding. He's such a great friend, LOL.
Plus, if the fenart drives you to becoming a future Fenris fan, then my life will be complete!

Heheh, you're right, emo isn't the right word. Angsty and broody are spot on. When I commit to something, I always see it through, so, like you, I wouldn't give up on him at the 3-year-mark. I'd keep going. Hell, even after Anders blows up the Chantry and I'm so mad at him I could kill him, I still forgave him and ran away with him because, well, I believe in true love and happy endings... x3 Not that things can't be sad, I guess, but then I get sad and, well, it's just so much better when things work out, gosh darnit! >.<
So my next playthrough, I will romance Fenris. You've convinced me! I'd like to see this character development everyone else has clearly experienced (because everyone else seems to adore Fenris, haha!). Also... that face... so cute! o.o

There are plenty of Fenris haters out there, believe me, but I love his character. I have a soft spot for anti-hero/taciturn type characters like him. If you like Morrigan I think you have a real chance to appreciate him. He isn't for everyone, but I think if your on the fence about him a romance PT is just what you need. Try to friend him though, since rivalmance (while I adore it too) can be a bit more on the rage!Fenris side. Not bad by any means, but if his anger is something you don't like (I love his anger and rage times, hee) then friendmance is definitely the way to go.
I'm glad I convinced you. Hopefully you will enjoy it and come out with a better appreciation/understanding of him.

I tend to have a friendship with everyone. <.< I always bond with my teammates, haha. We've been through so much together, I can't help but be friends with them all! So I'll definately get a friendmance going!
