Description
Witch's Name: CharlotteWish: I wish to share cheesecake with my mother one last time.
Guidebook Info: Her mother was terminally ill in the hospital and Charlotte's mother made mention that she wanted to eat cake with her daughter one last time before she died. Kyubey to the wish word for word. When the cake was finished the mother died. Realizing she could have wished for her mother to be cured, Charlotte's soul quickly deteriorated into a grief seed.

Theory: I have heard countless times that cheese is involved in Charlotte's story. I have read many theories as to why it is missing in Charlotte's labyrinth. I have come to decide for myself that the most probable theory is that the cheese represents her mother and the emptiness in Charlotte's heart that was the regret of her wish.

You know the thing about Charlotte having cancer was actually true. It had been revealed in a script. Thats what I heard on Tumblr anyways. As for this, this is almost exactly what I imagined her Magical Girl form to be. The colors are bright, sweet, and cheery, which go with Charlotte being the Dessert Witch. The shading looks great. The scythe in particular looks amazing as you gave a shine in some spots. Same with the cabdies in the bottom right corner. I also like how it resemble a set of teeth, very clever. Her outfit matchs Charlotte's appearence. Overall, you did a great job, and this is a great piece. Excellent work.

I will say that I did read that theory about her having cancer in the wiki but another piece of the page said that there was a line in the official guidebook that indicated that it was her mother that was the cancer patient. here is the line and I'll add a refrence note to the actual description so that others can find it. < Labyrinth design: "It's really a delicious cheese cake. My dying mother wanted to eat it, but maybe I should have cured her disease instead. However, that surely wasn't possible." > As to the credibility of tumblr I can't really say anything cause I don't use it. So I wouldn't know. I'm Using the Official Wiki.

I think that you should continue doing the other witches because this is really cool! I also thaink that you could draw the puella magi too as chibis. I think that would be really cute. How have you guys been? I havent gottens ahold of anyone lately and want to say hello and that I miss you guys! Text my mom sometyime so we can talk! Anyways yeah... Lol I thought Charlotte's wish was to have a lifetime supply of her favourite cheese and she ate it so much she couldn't get away from when she want fighting witches and she forgot to clean out her soul gem XD that's just my theory

the snake-like portion of it was, but think about Sayaka and Octavia. Do they look exactly alike. The doll is the actual girl according to many theories which is why I chose the snake-thing to be the weapon. Make since?

Well looking at your drawings you have a pretty good start. to tell you the truth all the coloring I do is done on Photoshop when it comes to this kind of art. I do use colored pencils but not for this stuff.
