It's a short novel turned movie written by Stephen King.
It was pretty creepy.
It's about this horror-writing author visiting various haunted places and being disappointed by the lack of scaredness.
And before this room '1408' at this hotel, he never really believed in ghosts or anything. It's really freaky.
But yeah. Your picture reminded me a little bit of the outside of the hotel.
