What'ya mean?
Every time Star Fox comes up with a long awaited entry meeting the fandom's demands they get needlessly bashed by the same fandom.
First Star Fox Assault brought the series back to the on-rail shooting roots and people complained about the ground levels, Star Fox command brought back the multiple pathways gameplay but the fans didn't like the story, Star Fox Zero made sure it was done in the same style as Star Fox 64 but people complained about the multitasking (which should be the player's fault for not practicing, not the game's), and the SNES Classic edition brought back Star Fox 2 (which every fan wanted to play on an official platform for years) and critics gave it negative reviews for "Stuff 64 and Assault did better" which totally missed the point.
I'm telling you no matter what demand the fandom asks, they'll always find a stupid excuse to be unpleasable and ungrateful.
