A pale interpretation of the book. It's a tear for me. I owned, inherited from my grandfather, the original French edition of 1919, published in 5000 copies, (currently calssed among the rare books of the National Library) and a quality whose reissue is only a pale reflection. I still remember the sheets of tissue paper that protected the illustrations. It unfortunately disappeared during a burglary ... I had embroidered some of the illustrations on silk cushions (also stolen).Stock used:
