YUP! lol. Thank you. =3 well, the mirror I got from micheals. And the cut out around it us card board that is paper mache and spray painted gold. Then the mirror is placed on the back of it. Then tada! n_n

It's incredibly hard to shape a mirror with out making it crack or shadder. only with the right tools would be able to do it just right. I was lucky enough to say that it fit pretty well.

yeah i can imagine!
I know my grandpa used to shape mirrors and such. He made a heart shaped one for my grandma... but he's got alzheimers now and can't really remember how he did it.
I was going to make my own, but now I don't know how I'll do the mirror part.

oh I see. that's a shame. I'm sorry. But if and when you wanna make one. be sure to buy a circle mirror first, and measure the diameter of it. Then use the measurement for the inside of the golden stencil design. make sense? i hope. =x

In the manga I think Hino Matsuri mentioned something about them actually making the mirrors and selling them in Japan. I'm so jealous.. they get the best stuff.

I don't dout that. Although, MeruPuri came out in japan along time ago. It would be extremely hard to track one of those down. =x
