From "Yellowfang's Secret" and "The Prophecies Begin" arcIn my headcanon, Yellowfang's parents named her Yellowkit already guessing her future warrior name, for them, she would be named "Yellowtail", however, Cedarstar thought that it would be funny to name her after her yellow teeth (I firmly believe that she had some poorly treated oral disease; only elderly cats are described with yellow teeth in the Warriors series, and she was obviously a young adult when she received her warrior name)
