Dear AngelaRizza,
I would like to use this illustration in my personal blog, for a series of articles made as a guided reading to 'The Lord of the Rings'. I will have no economical benefit on this use, will not modify your work, and will credit it properly.
This is an example on a previous article:Β finduriel.blogspot.com.es/2016β¦ Β Now we are crossing the Old ForestΒ
Thank you for your attention,
Monica

Sure! You might also want to check out the book Middle-Earth Envisioned, it was a fun book the art was used in that shows Tolkien's influence over art and culture.

You've captured all the warmth and mirth of a tavern ^O^
This could easily be a Christmas card <3

There's a great "Tolkienesque" quality to this drawing.
Such a warm atmosphere. I love the background.

Yah yah, but he's so far away! I think I'll do a closer picture of him when I get free time, and make it more like how he was in the movie. I really want to get into the details of the pipe. And don't you like Wormtongue? You have multiple definitions of sexy!

The space itself seems somewhat bare of activity and habitation. I don't know how much you were paid for the comission--myself understanding that the amount paid might not have warrented the time and energy to do a crowd--but I think more folks in the place might improve the composition.
I like the warm feel of the environment, still.

I was thinking the same, but yeah, the more figures, the more I would charge because it gets a bit crazy and I was working within his budget. I was also afraid the composition would get a little over-complicated too. Next time I'll have to remember to leave some space for minor characters.

When doing art for money, I always find myself in the delima of 'should I really go over and above with this piece so it makes me look good, or am I just cheating myself out of money?'. Meeting a customer's expectations JUST right is hard, I think. You don't want them to feel like they're not getting their money's worth, but you don't want to do more work than your being paid for and cheat yourself.

Yeah, I just started doing commissions and this took me twice as long as my work usually does. I kept worrying he wouldn't like it or if something looked weird. Luckily, in the end he was happy with how it came out and wants more work so as long as he's happy I guess I have to be too, haha.
