So some of you may know, I have been taking digital painting courses over the past 30 days learning some awesome art fundamentals and photoshop techniques!I've been getting requests to post some of my homework assignments, so here's one of them. They were showing us painting techniques for leather, so I decided to go with C.Viper! Keep in mind this is still a work in progress but thought I'd show you guys what I have thus far!
This piece was done entirely in photoshop. (First time, I've done this!)

This is outstanding! I love it! I know it's a WIP but it really is so cool it also can be a stand alone image. It looks great and the roughness of it adds to the high energy action.

Pretty cool for a 1st timer, don't feel off your game as i'm in the same boat but when it comes to drawing with a tablet, lol, i'm pretty familiar with photoshop and it's tools but never have i drawn digitally in it with a tablet until recently ---> [link]

Ah, man, I've been sleeping on u lately (my mistake)... u've been putting in work! With this and the UMVC image, I'll be looking for these as large prints at NYCC

lol, for those of you who haven't been paying attention to alvin's gallery or work, you will notice that all of his color pieces are collab works. A guru of line art with a undeniable talent, he's working on transitioning into the practice of understanding and applying color theory to his work. Hell i'm going through the same transition myself. this is easier said than done, but your off to one hell of a start alvin. best of luck!
