Messy drawing of Lily Evans/Potter. Ugh, I really want do more sketches of her later, this didn't come out exactly the way I wanted, plus she is a lovely character. My HP portrait styles are all over the place.I used three different reference photos - one of Megan Fox [link] , one of Dianna Agron [link] , and another of the actress that plays teenage Lily in the movies. I wanted to get a unique blend of all of them, but unfortunately it all ended up looking too much like Megan Fox. /failed x___X Although maybe that's not such a bad thing... haha. But still. It's a personal pet peeve of mine when a character portrait looks TOO much like a celeb, so I'm definitely going to redo this someday.

This is fantastic - her face looks so pretty, and I LOVE the little freckles on her cheeks. Her eyes are stunning and I like how her hair has that windswept look. I can definitely see Megan Fox in this (especially in the lips) but in my opinion this is a good look for Lily. I am trying to get an image of Lily together myself but as we rarely see her in Harry Potter, it is hard to know exactly what she looks like. As far as I'm concerned, this is pretty much exactly how I would imagine a younger Lily looks like. Good job!!!

Prettiful! How do you merge references? That seems like a great way of making unique character portraits. I also find it annoying when they look too much like celebrities, but I think this picture is perfect. She looks a lot like how I would imagine Lily to look. :-D

The painting is GORGEOUS, I love the style and grittiness combined with the elegant single strands of hair. Very nice, regardless of how similar to Megan Fox you feel she is

I didn't get Megan Fox at all when I first looked at this. Actually her nose and mouth kind of reminded me of Lisa Kudrow.
But really, I think this is gorgeous and absolutely perfect
