Description
"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Admiring the Last Supper painting, at the Hvar Franciscan Monastery, painted by Matej Ponzoni-Poncun.
The painter made this work for the Franciscans in gratitude for saving his life after a shipwreck.

At last!: a Last Supper that is NOT Leonardo's.
Believe it or not, there are many Last Suppers painted by such people as Ghirlandajo, Bassano, Tintoretto, Poussin, Viladomat and Nolde.

The lighting makes it all look like a painting - not just the actual painting, but the stone, benches, and your fiancee.

Pah! This is nothing more than a sneaky way of putting famous artwork in your gallery.
But excellently done...

I have to say, for a moment there I thought she was part of a larger painting, but since this was in the photography section I quickly shook that thought out of my head. A very lovely piece, you did a superb job.

I love everything about this. From the colors, to the super dramatic lighting, to the excellent sense of scale. And the model comes off cute.
It's currently used as my desktop background. It's just a gorgeous photo.

A photo of artwork that itself qualifies as a beautiful piece of art. Very nicely done, and well composed.

That's really awesome. The painting is just awesome. Plus, you get cool points for knowing what transbstantiation means. YAAAAAY YOU! (are you catholic then, or do you just know the words?)

The lighting is amazing. The way the painting and your fiancee just glow.
Was it natural light? Or did you setup lighting?
