The poem is an ancient Chinese one and is totally romantic, it roughly translates to
'A year ago today at this room,
There was a girl as lovely as the peach flower bloom.
But now this year the girl is gone,
Yet the peach blossoms flower on.'
How does this relate to Mulan? Well erm. Perhaps she's not there because she's saving your motherland!! (Just kidding, I have an awful sense of humour.)

I am illiterate when it comes to Chinese, so please don't look too closely at the Chinese characters.

It's roughly the size that will fit your deskstop background (or atleast it does for mine).
