I drew this way back in September, only just got around to coloring it.

Kitsune Inari was a character that ran for a very short time in a brief but memorable Rokugan campaign. She was a Samurai of the tiny Fox clan, known for their henna-streaked hair and their speed in battle. The pose came from the fact that she is a master of Iaijutsu, the art of drawing a blade and striking with it in a single fluid motion. I was going to draw her in armor, but I decided a kimono was easier to draw. The tiny gold waving fox on her belt is actually a joke on the traditional image of the waving cat figurine.
