Description
While getting to explore a bit of the area around Lake Tahoe in June '10 we were following this river which was running high with the spring snow melt. The amount of water and interesting rock textures were great but this lone tree caught my eye. Roots in the rock....alone in the middle. As there was barely a cloud for 3 days the shot felt b/w to me (though the color is good too). The 16-35 mk2 makes the most wonderful sunstars!Image details: 4 images. 1 for the sky, 1 for 80% of the rest, 1 for the small area of water back right that was too bright and 1 with my finger over the sun to blend out the glare that was on the rocks in the foreground. Some different processing for this one too with regards to the feel I think too
Much thanks!

I was gonna say how the heck did you shoot this but then the info part expanded about the 4 images. Otherwise I was gonna ask what you sold the devil to be able to do this.

Haha. Tricky tricky. If I had the GND it would have been much more simple. But so it goes. The finger trick for the glare...which is still very very minimal w/ this lens is key.

Haha. With the gnd it would have MOSTLY out of the camera...minus the conversion and curves etc.

Wow,
Quite a daring angle, into the sun with bright light on the water and deep dark zones. Excellently executed!!! Sure shows that you have the wisdom to foresee where the issues will pop up during processing (hence, 4 shots taken).
