I love this!! I love it, love it, love it, love it!! To be sincere, I thought this was a picture. I mean, it looked real. Plus, Daryl Dixon is one of my favorites in this series which has become one of my favorite TV shows, The Walking Dead. The details of this picture is perfect and just by looking how it was done by the shared link was just phenomenal and well done. From the eyes and hair to the stained blood on the chest and side of the head. Seriously, good job on the hard work!! I really love this.

The detail of the pores of his skin and shading is beautiful. The eyes appear to be staring into the soul of the onlookers. The only things that could use a little work (and even then not that much) is the lighting used for the beard and the jacket. You used the same technique for shading of the beard as you did the hair. Being you showed sweat on him, the beard would be slightly more greasy than the hair, causing a different shading.
As for the jacket, it is beautiful I will give you that, but where you've drawn the torn leather at the collar should have some thread shining in the light (I have a leather jacket that has a tear at the pocket and I see the threading showing through slightly.
Overall very beautiful work.

Wonderful artwork. I don't know how, but this face is alive and can speak)). I can't imagene a volume of work vith details. Deep meditation can help. And others portraits are the same.

This is downright spectacular! Amazing work! The process sheet is also amazing, I am trying to do a portrait of my own and I have been struggling but thanks to the sheet, now I know where to start! Thank you! Do you mind if I ask some questions?
What type of brushes do you use? I have absolutely no idea which ones I should be using.
Also, do you have any tips?

Hello!! Sorry for the late reply, I'm not used to so much activity around here haha.
First of all thanks I'm glad it helped a bit, honestly any good artist will tell you
that you can do mostly anything with the standard photoshop hard round brush,
All you need to do is play with the flow and hardness.
In fact this painting was made mostly with this brush, except for some of the skin texture dots that are a brush I made myself.
Some tips... Don't be afraid to use references and do photo/painting studies to learn how skin color and lighting works on faces.
