Description
Here's the final version of that card. Not a masterpiece, but fun. And I thought it was one of my better Harrison Ford likenesses... It takes place in 1930, so I was trying to draw a 31 year-old Indy. This scene is from Dark Horse Comics' digest INDIANA JONES ADVENTURES, VOL. I (May, 2008). I figured everyone was going to draw scenes from the movies, I decided to take a different tack. The girl in the image is English, not Swedish; she's an archeologist (or archaeologist, as the Brits would write it) from the British Museum.
Read the comic; it's a damn good Indy yarn!

You did an amazing job at creating a 31 yr old Indy. Marilyn M, no... Cristine A "YES!" Either way, she is beautiful .
Thanks for sharing this great work.

Oh, man. I hope we'll be able to see a full color Indy comic made by you someday, but I think it'd take a lifetime to do.
I love the look on Indy's face.

That is so cool. It'd be neat if you were ever to do a bunch of back stories for the series. I know i'm dreaming but that's what I thought when I saw the pic.

I suppose I'm going to get hit for this one, but... He reminds me of Shia LaBeouf... It's the eyes, really. Like Harrison Ford/ Shia LaBeouf combined. Great work regardless

Yeah, I'm in 'classic American Illustartion' mode these days. Any babe that has to have a retro feel is going tp have echoes of Ms. Hepburn, my favorite retro babe.
Thank for your interest!

Sweet. That's definitely a part of the reason why your stuff attracted me.
I'd also like to add that there will never be another woman like miss Hepburn.

There is another woman like Hepburn; Jennifer Love Hewitt. I'm kidding of course but I've heard that said once and I almost choked. Hepburn was one of a kind.

Good lord, the lighting must have been a BIATCH to do in this. It's fantastic! Yay for younger Indy who has yet to encounter nuclear explosions!
Lovely glow on the gal's noggin. I really like the detail shot here better than the full version. It seems better framed and really pops.
