The placement of the figure on the paper is quite intriguing. And I think it's the reason I get this feeling of bright, hot sunshine. If the subject of the picture was more centered, I would probably just think it was a model with studio lights, but for some reason, this is obviously a summer sky.
It's a really nice piece.
