I had this fullbody, portrait and mouth doodles since 2021 in my gdrive. The OG procreate artwork might be even older. Today I assembled it all and even made a lil top/bottom view and phasing forms doodle for it. I feel like i grew a superpower

Anyway heres mimic. They're some sorts of thing.

Calling mimic's shadow state "phasing" feels a bit odd, but I think it does the job of sending the message of how this works in a single word. They can turn into a shadow and navigate surfaces as one. As a shadow they can shapeshift, stretch, shrink, grow, whatever goes. Physically they're really bendy and foldable, but they can't shapeshift.

To trap them one can leave them phasing in a floating object. To kill them they could destroy that object. They can't be killed when manifesting physically. They can be harmed though, doing a cool healing animation while at it.

Their old ref has some info on wounds/bleeding.
