I really, really love how you captured this.
The look of the leaf is incredibly beautiful - did you edit its color? Maybe just enhanced it?
I love that it enters into the middle of the shot, and not only that, the stem of it goes in and around the wires and then drops it down to where it's located here. I love the way the artery, so to speak, of the stem is so well brought out, and how the veins of the leaf are so well defined and captured too. The coloration of it is mind boggling and I love how the outer edge is slightly blurred at points, making it really flow in the shot.
I also loveee the background.
The little gates - or just wires - add a great look here. It's like a beautified impression of being locked in some place, almost trapped in a way. But, with that said, I find the title to be misfitting - however I suppose it's all how you look at it. Maybe like, even the most beautiful things or the people that seem the happiest, still have their low points or are hiding how lonely they may feel, etc.
I really love the lighting and colors in the background though. The look of a pale yellow, green and pink-ish bring out the colors and overall detail of the main focus.
