I already got one where it's call the Lost Undergoarnd.
See there in los vegas there is an undergournd system full of homeless people and there still living down there like the old saying gose " out of set out of mind "

I kind of imaged those regions to be relatively lawless area with Santa Fe, Phoenix, and Carson City hit and several other communities lost to riots and lack of food and water. Vegas is one of those major cities that was lost during after the war and because it was a major city many chose to avoid it fearing radiation might be near. Not much is known about the Vegas area, nor do people know if it was nuked or just simply abandoned. Of all those explorers and scavengers who went to find out haven't returned. The nation of Sandland was planning an expedition into the heart of Nevada to locate any post-war societies but a civil war broke out between factions who want to join Deseret or the Inland Empire and a third faction still loyal to its government. So far the three major nations in that region are to busy fighting over Sandland to explore Nevada.

Ah ok, in my books those who go out didn't think of one thing water, the best time to walk in nevada is the hrs between 4 to 8 the rest is rest and stay in saed at all times than when the time come than move as fast as you can and make sure to bring about way more water than you think you'll need.
Look at the 3 soact boys and there master one died becasue they didn't have enfe water and run out by fore getting to the rivers.
Vegas have an undergourd system that use to be at over 1.5k people living there but thx to us it got to 500 but think about it it be a safe pleach to hide from the sun
