You know the post-credit 30 minute scene at the end of the FFX/X-2 Remaster? Well, at Japan Expo in Paris, they revealed the 2 minutes of audio right around the 14 minute mark in this video: [link]

So apparently there's 2 new characters called Kurgum and Chuami. By the sounds of it, they're brother and sister, going to the Blitzball Tournament held in Bevelle's city. It looks like Tidus makes a return also.

I'm just sooooooooo glad they didn't cancel it. They announced it all the way back in 2011 and we didn't hear anything since. I was worried that all of the butthurt VII fans made them change their minds. :S

I think the screenshots look awesome despite what many people say. It's a lot more sharp and there's more polygons. Plus Tidus doesn't look really creepy anymore XD

The best part is, we're finally getting the International version of X-2 after like, 10 years. Plus there's gonna be trophies!

I bet the platinum trophy for X-2 is getting 100%. I'm calling it right now. Platinum for X would probably be killing Penance...without Zanmato.

Hmmm...resources for the weapons and poses and stuff? Not many, actually...or at least I didn't use any while I made them. But as far as resources, I just have a ton of pictures I've saved. and a few books. I rarely use them unless I'm looking for something in particular, but it's nice to know they're there if I need them.

I'd say about 90% of the time I don't use resources to draw -most is just trial and error, or things I remember.

It's not nosy at all, no worries! If you can give me some specific topics, I can recommend some great references for them, if you like.

I've played a considerable number of FF's (not all to the end, though), and even if I have a favorite (game, character, good guy, bad guy, whatever whatever whatever), I don't like to make comparisons between them. For me, each FF is unique. They've their own art style, story telling, character design, and such. So I don't think it's fair to go judging 'em. =/
When I try to make humor, I care to make from it's "own" universe (like what I did with FFX, for example). If I've to make fun of something, it will be from the games flaws, not the it-was-better-on-the-other-ff, this-char-isn't-as-good-as-insertthenamehere, the-bad-guy-should-be-like-insertthenameofcharhere and etc.

SRSLY?! I'M DAMN EXCITED ABOUT IT! Dear lord, if they make a blu-ray of it I damn sure will be buying one! 8D I grow up with that thing, it was my first FF! T.T I've all the feels for that game <3 Can't wait to play it again! i3i

But yeah, I completely agree with you. Poor XIII(-2) is getting beaten to death by the 'fans' who just point out all of the flaws and never the good things. Well, duh! It's a game! They all have their flaws and strengths! I haven't actually played XIII to be honest, but I think it's fair to just accept the games for what they are instead of ripping it apart and therefore inuslting the creators of the game itself.

Oh yush, the FFX remaster's gonna be awesome! Too bad I don't have a PS3. But I'll be sure to look up Youtube vids of it sometime when it comes out. Besides, more Tidus is always a good thing.

People are always searching the bad things on the games. Sure they have flaws but, ugh, can't we just accept it and enjoy the ride? I've yet to finish it, my friend gave me some spoilers of what it's to come and I kinda scared right now, 'cuz I'll probably have my ass beaten to death XD (and the fact that I'll have to spend a few hours practcing doesn't please me at all >_>)

Yeahh...about that HD version... Isn't it taking to long? I mean, SE released XIII-2 pretty fast, and it was a WHOLE new game. So why this delay now? (it's not that bad if we stop to think about versus XIII, but anyway *cough6yearscough*) Until the time they finally finish it you'll probably have a ps3 already XD
I'm curious to know if they will make the characters saying Tidus name, instead of letting us rename him like in the old one XD (I've read somewhere that they would "re-dub" o.o)

I'm actually a bit scared of the Final Fantasy fanbase in general to be honest. It seems that no matter what Square Enix does, there always has to be a couple thousand people who point out every single flaw of the game without considering the good points as well. I guess it's with the new generation and all of the VII fanboys. :/ It actually reminds me a bit of the Sonic fanbase...hnnnnng.

I guess it's because of all the projects Square Enix are doing right now, that they haven't really got all that much time to spend per day on FFX HD. Hell, they're even working on a 'FF XIII-3' and I've heard rumours that they're working on Kingdom Hearts 3. I think an HD version of even the game that held the Guinness World Record for the console game that had the most copies sold in a day would be the least of their concerns right now.

I hope that they redo the voice acting to be perfectly honest, even though I actually like the FFX English dub. While I don't think it's the best dub in the world, I don't think it's 'horrible' like most people say. I actually really liked James Arnold Taylor's performance as Tidus in FFX, but I do think he really improved when he got to Dissidia and Duodecim. It sounds more 'mature' and more like a hyperactive teenager as opposed to the sort of raspy yet cheerful voice. (I think his occasional voice cracks in FFX are cute. X3)

To think about it, it's not 'cuz of the new generation of gamers, actually, it's easier to get to reviews and opinions nowadays(no matter your age). The others FF's were released in the '90s, by that time people didn't had the same "ease" with internet like today. ( I remember what a nightmare was when I was stuck in a game, I'd to search for a friend on school or look through newsstands for advices XD plus, I didn't knew english by that time either, so playing was THE challenge XD).

I have to agree that the FF VII fanbase complains A LOT! I really like that game, I played it till the end, heck, I even have a poster of it on my room!XD (Advent Children, but still) They surely won't be happy until SE announce a remake -_- (and I'm pretty tired of their babbling)
But again, have you ever seen a fandom not arguing with others (and themselves) about whatever happens on their media? (I can list a few tv shows whose fandom throw a flame war all around the internet 8D).

Oh, yeah! And there is also this FF XIV, right? What bugs me is that they keep announcing new releases but don't finish the old ones -_- yes versus, I'm looking at you I do hope XIII-3 to be the last one so they can move forward and finish the GODDAMN versus!! and also KH3, 'cuz I'm dying to see how it will end =B

I want it to be redone too, but with the same casting. FFX had some pretty funny adaptations (like how they had to rush a line to fit on the characters mouth), but I don't think it's that bad to be called "horrible" either

Funny is that while on the english version of dissidia, Tidus sounded mature, on the japanese he surely sounds younger XD (I played the japanese first, though I love both versions I find it odd XD)

May I just take the time here and very very reluctantly say...that my brother has the original FF VII on PS1...and yet I've not played it because it, -GASP-, doesn't really look all that interesting to me?

-running away from cannonballs and rocket launchers and bio-weapons- NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF THE PS1 GRAPHICS, DAMN IT! I'M NOT ALL THAT INTERESTED IN INCREDIBLY SCI-FI STORYLINES! I PREFER STUFF LIKE DRAGONS AND DEMONS!

I don't know if this is true or not, but if a FF VII remake is to be made, it would take about 10 years for it to be made. I don't know the source. Apparently it's from one of Square Enix of Japan's executives or something. So...yeah, tough luck VII fanboys. Now can you please stop whining about how FFX is getting the HD treatment instead of the game that spawned 2 prequels, 1 sequel and a CGI film? I think it's about time that the game with an incredibly loathed sequel finally got some attention. (lol totally not biased since ffx is my favourite ff game)

Well apparently, XIV was a huge flop. Honestly I don't know why it was a flop. The graphics were nice, but I'm guessing that the servers were really unstable and the gameplay was choppy and whatnot. I really like the theme song though. (Answers) From how it looks, XIV 2.0 really is doing better. I hope that it stays up to be honest.

Honestly, I don't see how Versus XIII is all that special to everyone, even if the trailer was announced 6 years ago...I honestly think that everyone would throw a fit over, 'THIS DOESN'T LOOK LIKE FINAL FANTASY' since all the sexy boys have guns and the cars actually...well, look like real life cars. XD I bet when it does come out...like, 40 years later there's gonna be another plague of Final Fantasy Hate Syndrome. >.>

I would hate it if they got a different cast for FFX. D: Nothing can replace James Arnold Taylor as Tidus in my opinion. It just sounds so fitting for him. They even got John DiMaggio as Wakka and Tara freakin' Strong as Rikku. All three of them are really talented voice actors, look them up sometime.

I know, right? XD I decided to listen to the original Japanese audio for Dissidia. Upon hearing Tidus' voice I was like, "O_O...doesn't that sound a little young for a 1017 year old?" Don't get me wrong, it sounds super adorable sometimes, ('Rehdehhhhh...GOWH!') but I feel that the English voice suits him better.

(Fun fact: Tidus' seiyuu is Morita Masakazu, also the seiyuu of Ichigo from Bleach.)

You know, I can't blame you. I had a really bad time trying to convince myself to play it. I started all wrong, first watched the movie and then tried the game (but only when a friend got it, then I borrowed and started playing). I should be ashamed of myself, though, I'd all that prejudice with graphics and stuff (c'mon, after watching AC and playing FFX do you really want to play with big headed Legos?), I enjoyed the gameplay even with some craps that made me laugh like crazy (if you have time, search for obstinatemelon FFVII comics, it's awesome and you'll pee on your pants XD). Crisis Core, in other hand, is my favorite prequel, but just 'cuz Zack makes it playable =B (gotta love those happy-go-lucky main chars). But yeah, if you spend enough time looking through the history it won't make sense. Firstly 'cuz it had so many retcons, insertions and removals, that the story gets confusing. (That's one of the points that I think may be troublesome for SE) They tried to fill the plot holes and ended up creating bigger ones.

For me, SE is saying what the fans want to hear. The fact is that they actually overcame that title, they don't know what else can be made and neither if it's worth doing it. When they need money THEN they'll come up with amazing graphics, trailers, gameplay (and whatever) to suck money out of the fanboys =B

Didn't play and won't play XIV, my computer (or whatever platform it runs) can't handle XD Also, online RPG's are life consumers ( I know it pretty well, since I once spent 5 years of my life playing Ragnarök Online .-.). Though I've to catch up with the news about XIV, haven't seen about it in a while o.o

Versus is like a new brand of candy. They make it looking tasty, appealing, something ordinary, yet, the marketing behind it is so damn strong that every time they let you take a sample, you think that it's the most marvelous thing in the world! Even if it tastes like sh*t everyone will want to prove it. If one hates it, the others will buy to know why; if one likes it the others will buy and claim to heavens that they where right. Either way it will sell XD (I think that's the worst metaphor I've ever made, but you get my point...I hope 8D)
Plus, can you think the disappointment that will be if they suddenly cancel the title? (The fans will lose confidence on the brand and it will result in financial problems for the company =/). Even I am looking forward to it ;_;
