it is sad and amazing, but I disagree that Ian should be in these groups since Martin has already left most of the groups he is in. the fact that the person Ian copied had copied other people as well doesn't make it more tolerable, does it?

no it doesnt but Ian hasnt copied anything. Martin is just as fault as Ian WAS! But ian hasnt done it anymore. So that is good.

Ian never accused anyone. Ian publicly (like martin apologized) and he paid his price for what he did HARSHLY! Why does nobody seam to see that at all. Martin is just as bad as what Ian had done. Ian deserves to be in those groups. Hes talented, loves art, passionate, devoted, learns and cares for what he does. Its obvious and so does martin. But because martin says that little apology doesnt mean its all okay now. Plus you have to understand Ian did it when he was 16, hes young and stupid. Martin was 23, older, more mature. It all makes sense!!!!!

Yes, he did, he even talked bad about Cosmosys, a group I'm part of, for not wanting him in. If I were to vote if he should be accepted in the groups I am part if it will still be a no, not only is his art not up to par, but his attitude is way off. It's important to have a right attitude when you're part of the group. "Talented" you say? I doubt it. I never said it's ok what Martin did after reading his apology, but it was a noble thing to admit and say he's sorry.Β

well i wonder why! How would you feel if you made a mistake and everyone started attacking you and calling you names. You would get defensive! Its a human instinct. He did it to protect himself and you all made him feel like shit. His work is not up to par? how is it not??? Its just as good as martins, and other people from those groups. Im 38 years old and attended college for art and design. His work is just as good as martins. His attitude was negative towards you guys for a good reason. You all attached him. From the beginning none of you gave him a REAL chance to grow up and evolve. You just kept bashing him for 4 years. Thats harassment and bullying. Ian deserves to be in it. If he was able to get into IN and Evoke then how is his work not up to par with Cosmosys. That is just total Bullshit. Ian apologized publicly, many times yet nobody accepted it. you all just attacked him. How do you not see this. His work is better then yours for sure! Hes talented!!!! I know Ian in person. I have met him at an art show. If you asked people from groups and people who know Ian personally, they would say the one thing Ian is is Talented and passionate. I have yet to hear anything negative of Ian except the fact that he got deference for what you guys did.

Ian is far less skilled than Martin, and I can safely assume everyone in Cosmosys feels this way. Β The first time Ian did what Martin did, he did not recognize that what he did was wrong. Β Ian was in denial. Β Ian continued to copy other artists in his work after he was told to stop. Β And then he did it again. Β And he continued to act irrational and immature in the way he responded to people. Β Martin was immediately forgiving and thoughtful in his apology. Β
Martin was absolutely wrong with what he did, but Ian cannot in any way use what Martin has done as an excuse for what you have done. Β Ian never should have been accepted into IN or Evoke, and will still never be accepted into Cosmosys.

ya Ian may of been that way but un lets see, he was 16, and 17 so he was young meaning dumb, immature, not knowing anything. People who are older and mature attaching him. Hmm what would I do as a 16 year old kid.... I would defend myself. Now Ian is 20, and almost 21 and he has yet to copy a work, has people liking his works, become more skilled.
Well I disagree, I think he deserves it fully. He has skill, passion and devotion for what he did. Plus he paid the price for what he did harshly I must say!
So why does martin get to get away with everything but a simple small apology and nothing happen while Ian keeps working hard, shows people constantly that he has style, passion and all. I would rather accept someone who is passionate and works hard then someone who is going to lie and steal for a long time and be mean to another. Martin was very mean to Ian. What ruined Ian's Reputation was not the fact that he did what martin just did, but that Martin attacked Ian like no other. He was a bully.
Im a 38 year old teacher at an art college. I know bullying when I see it. And sir, Ian has been a victim. Ian deserves an apology. And all this shit needs to stop. I bet that if you guys let him in, he would never copy a darn thing for any group like martin did, he would be even more thrilled and more passionate. Ian deserves to be in them. It is wrong of you to say he doesnt.

Im just asking for forgiveness, to more on, not be mean to me at all, and to let me in on the group. That is all. And if not, then I am sorry that you cannot forgive another person for making a mistake. I hope you have made a mistake in your life and if not, then you must be perfect. Im happy I am not perfect, otherwise I would never learn or have regrets like this.

You didn't make one mistake, you made a lot, and you know it. Please stop whining about it, and pretend that you are the victim here. Personally I think you have some huge issues if you're so desperate to get into any art collective there is on the internet.
It's not about forgiving you, of course everyone deserves a fresh start, I'm pretty sure that by 2013 nobody would have cared that you did what you did back in 2011 if you didn't deny everything and stopped doing the same thing you've been doing since 2011.Β
Further more, contacting me on facebook saying that you lost all respect for me is not really going to help you improve your reputation since I imagine you did the same for the others too.
A few pieces of advice:

1. Try to get over your huge ego and do art for fun, not for fame.Β
2. Forget Martin Grohs ever existed.
3. Don't focus your entire life on getting accepted in these groups ffs, get a life.
