I haven't disappeared. I'm trying to clean out my message center (at the inconsistent rate of about +/- five written things a day--visual art doesn't generally get a comment), and I'm working (slowly, but working) on the next part of the most recently posted story.

Well, actually, to tell you the truth, I didn't just watch you for no reason. I watched you b/c I enjoy and appreciate your talent and I would like to get a notice as to when I would be able to see some more.
It's my business as to whether I talk to you or not, but I would be happy to if you would like. It's not very endearing, after I did you the favor of watching you, to come to my page and attack me, however unattachedly, because I didn't comment or say anything, because I really don't owe you anything. It was a compliment to you that I watched you.
If you want to be friends, you make the effort. That was the wrong way to go about it. As I said, I would be happy to go beyond just the watch. I am a nice person--others will vouch for that. So, if you would like to start over, come and find me.

colorado college is "nestled at the foot of beuatiful Pikes Peak."
It actually is, my bedroom window last year looked directly at nothing BUT pikes peak. cool, huh?

yeah, cc and boulder are both pretty mountainy. denver is the big (relatively) city, though. do you think the art museum building is ugly?

the art museum is allright, I guess. Kinda plain. Not god awful, not yet at least. It looks like an art museum. But what they're planning to do to it is all fucked up. kinda like a kite designed by a drunk guy. with windows.
they'll have good shows from time to time, but I'm just going to feel like an idoit walking into such a stupid looking building.

yeah its a castle now, which is silly. but they've been planning to remodel it for awhile and somewhere inside is a little model of what it will look like once they get their act together.
It'll turn into this willy wonka factory, with angled floors and rooms that get smaller and smaller as you walk in.
Its gonna look nuts on the outside. the inside'll probably be fine, but the outside looks like a drunk's work.

I'm torn between thinking it'll be super excellent and thinking it'll be both ugly and impractical. at least it'll be...interesting. poetically speaking, it looks like both a shark and a jet. after typing that i have realized those are west side story gangs. oh well.
