yo...you ever come to boston...can you get me a ticket for the sox? i float by Yawkey on my way to school, and all i can think (as i look out the windows of the train to see fenway) is "damn...it will never be $14 a seat anymore. and now that i don't play ball anymore, i'll never play there."

Sadly, no I have never been to Boston. We keep saying we're going to make the trip. But 700 odd sellouts in a row, and ticket prices have me worried that I'll get to go to like one game and they'll get stomped by some horrible team like the Royals.

it happens, but i've only been to 1 or 2 bad games...even if the game is bad, fenway has an atmosphere that is unlike any other ballpark in the world....plus you can sneak down pretty far by the 8th...and we both know to stay till the game is OVER (cough 2004 vs. the Yankees cough) the point is that you have a good time no matter the score or the plays.

Yeah, you're right there. It'll be incredible to just see Fenway in real life someday. I've seen 50 plus Sox games in St Pete against the Rays since I moved to Florida in 2000, but that place is a dump. No atmosphere whatsoever.
That said, having a good time at Fenway over the last week would have been damn hard.

depends on the fan. fenway franks for dinner, beach balls in the bleachers, the wave, laughing at the drunk guy who is yelling really bad insults at the center feilder (to Coco Crisp earlier this season "I DON'T EVEN BUY YOUR CEREAL ANYMORE") even last week i could have had a good time...i think

Yeah, I'm cautiously optimistic. Just like everyone else, I'd prefer Tim on drums, but Ler is the most important ingredient for Primus as far as I'm concerned. I hope Les doesn't find some way to make it horrible like everything else he's done in the last several years.
