Well my friend, dA was great. Good community, great friends, and a supportive place. Now not so much as there's a crapton of rulebreaking and trolling. There's some good in the what's occurred now, mostly with format. However, it was exciting and a total trip.

That's a good start. My friend, you're on the way to the top. Be mind, it isn't a easy road. As a artist, I tried so hard...then I picked up writing. I used to be subpar in both, I gave up drawing to do more writing. And now, I'm going strong enough to gain support on FFN. www.fanfiction.net/~yoshi3000

You might want to have other venues aside from deviantART to get yourself out there and noticed.

i decided to start a Tumblr a week ago, just so i can slowly merge into more websites other than DA <3

also, the fact that you can get supporters even on ffn is amazing! not many people stick around there long enough to earn a fan-base there so congrats~~

Well most people don't want to read and would rather read comics. dA wasn't too kind to a writer like me. And that's a small fanbase I have there are accumulated from joining FFN since February of this year. My views here....are quite moderate.
