I love your candles, and I am so glad you mentioned the method you used to make the molds and then the candles, because I would love to make some molds with my clay and try this! The owls are the cutest, in my opinion, and the others all turned out nice as well :) (Smile)

Thanks! It's a lot more difficult than it probably sounds, just because of the wax being a lot stiffer than the clay, but I'm sure you'd get the hang of it. Only downfall is that the molding material is rather expensive.

I don't know about that. I am already buying clay for other projects so I am not worried about the cost so much. Do you make a front and back section of molds for each piece, or is it just one mold? I was assuming it was two, because it would be impossible to get the finished candle out of one big mold, but I was not certain. The wax is stiff when it is solid and cool, but you said you pour it, so you would have to melt it first of course, and the clay mold would have to be baked before putting the wax into it anyway. I could probably figure out the process on my own, but I wouldn't mind a few tips if you don't mind sharing :) (Smile)
