Well, if I had to make a top 7 list from least favorite to most favorite it'd go like this.
7. Human (too generic, not that interesting)
6. Apex (Again, not that interesting and alot like humans)
5. Novakid (The lack of expression on their lack-of-faces is annoying)
4. Glitch (Interesting as they are medieval robots that remind me of another game I used to play. Their speech is pretty annoying, tho.)
3. Hylotl (Japanese culture interests me and I like fish. Don't like the three-eyed design much)

What do you personally think what a techno organic matoran is?
Personally i would write them as a more improved version of the standard matorans from an experiment a great being did. they would act as descendents of the previous matorans, except that they have mix genders in a specific element like water for an example. And that they can reproduce unlike their predecessor.

I wouldn't know, really. The Matoran themselves are already biomechanical, living tissue and technology, with the genders being merely psychological.
The way you explain techno-organic Matoran makes them appear more as the Agori from Bara Magna, formerly fully organic lifeforms, turned into cyborgs by the Great Beings' experiments. They have actual genders and they need to eat and reproduce.
