Yup, you're right... ^^' After the summer ended, my work has gotten more hectic - there are lots of things going on in my workplace right now: lots of to design, redesign, update, publish and all that kind of stuff. I haven't really had energy for anything else these days, that's why I've been (even more) inactive online - and unproductive in general. I can just hope it'll get better... TvT

Uuuh, my workload is definitely not going to lessen... winter is coming Christmas is coming, after all. There are going to be looots of things and events to advertise and since our office is closed during the Christmas holidays, everything needs to be done in advance. So, there'll be one heck of a final spurt in December before my vacation. x_x

He's correct. Apparently the devs ran out of money and hence that one was said to feel pretty rushed. That was a shame since the graphics were sublime. But fear not, they seem to be well-off financially since they are going to also release the OG trilogy on the damn Switch.

P.S. I've gotten Let's Go Eevee and it's surprisngly good. If you want, I can elaborate on that. :'D

Yup, December is coming and I've already had to do some Christmas stuff... :'D Talking about workload spikes, there was a big one and one I (foolishly) thought that wouldn't concern me: Black Friday. I think this was the first year it became a "mainstream" thing here in Finland too. (For the past years only companies selling games, electronics etc. and online stores would have Black Friday offers.) Of course my workplace joined in. It was a horrible. For example, I did 80+ posters for one business. But, I survived! ;v;

Viti is... a cute girl. But a good girl? That one is up for debate. :''D She scratches our sofa, cables, people, a fellow cat roommate... Viti can't control her strength yet, so if she decides she's had enough petting, she will scratch/bite hard. D:
Viti isn't exactly malevolent, but she sure likes to provoke/bully poor ol' Piki. Disturbing Piki's peaceful naps or taking treats right under Piki's nose. Or just plain ambushing and challenging to "duels". Despite all this, they get along pretty well and Viti seems to even see Piki as a mother figure of some sort. Piki has more or less accepted this role and e.g. routinely cleans Viti. (Piki loses her patience quickly if Viti doesn't stay still, though, and the cleaning time can easily turn into a wrestling time.)
I remember Piki being quite a rascal when she was a kitten, maybe Viti will calm down as well when she grows up... :'3

So Black Friday is now also a thing up there, eh? That is interesting. We had our first Black Friday down here last year, and it just became a legitimate thing over here this year. We've gotten a good number of deals that could make our wallets cry. Well, now I got a Samsung phone thanks to that particular occasion... Unfortunately Nokia models did not receive discounts. Would have liked a 7.1...

Anyway, yar, that sounds like hell alright. And yet you survived, so that warrants a kudos! x)

In other words, Viti sounds like your typical mischievous kitty. I guess she took up kitty-Piki's mantle now that the latter's a mommy figure. Let's hope she'd grow up into a proper lady cat, indeed. Oh, and I hope those wrasslin' sessions don't turn violent! Speaking of which, yes, Viv is a huge boy now. He mostly thinks and communicates with his mouth nowadays. The really funny thing is that his meows are becoming more and more nasal. Seriously. 8D

B.E.W.K. stands for Blue Eyes White Kitty. Y'know, just like that friggin' dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh! Aaaaand I don't even like YGO, but damn that's a fitting name for our humongous boy.

Aside from Trine, Crash Team Racing will also land on Switch. If you wanna' talk about the 'Coot and his (presumably Aussie) mates, then let's do that the ole'-fashioned way on some racetrack. >:3

Let's Go Eevee's greatest strength lies within its simplicity. While it's sort of a bummer that the mechanics are watered down to its basics, it ultimately made me remember why I enjoyed 'Mons in the first place: it's about tagging along your favourite critters and watching them grow stronger. This is something that I've forgotten a long time ago. Dabbling in online battling means you'd need to breed perfect mons. With this mindset comes along the tendency to see those 'Mons as sets of numbers. In LGE, I just don't give a damn about that since online battling is not really a thing. I just picked random wild 'Mons that happen to strike my fancy - that way, it feels much more personal. This is especially the case with our partner Eevee.

Oh, and being forced to use Kanto 'Mons is also a blessing in its own. You'd probably adapt and have 'em grow on you. I have a Weepinbell in my party and I can confidently say that I like Bellsprouts now. They are cute. Additionally, I have also realised how cool do Pidgeottos look. Also, yeah, the (unevolvable) partner Eevee is truly a badass little ball of brown fluff. They could and would maim stronger foes if you let 'em rip.

With watered-down mechanics comes a more substantial world. Now you have wild 'Mons visibly roaming around the map, which makes the world feel much more organic and less game-y. No wild battles is actually not that bad of a thing - you need to catch wild mons to level up and get some stat-increasing candies from Mr. Oak instead. It's surprisingly fun, and it invariably makes you gotta' catch 'em all. This is Pokémon.

The best thing is Eevee itself. It's great to see the little fella' finally getting the spotlight instead of its evolved forms, both in general and in combat!

P.S. You did attend a something-con, did you not (at least by judging from your latest Twitter posts)? Did it go well? x)

Yeah, I have a feeling that Black Friday will become a yearly thing here too... Though there were some backlash as well, with campaigns encouraging people to not buying anything (impulsively) during Black Friday. One furniture shop even started selling their products for +50% that day. :''D

Oh no, is B.E.W.K. going through a voice break? I wonder how nasal his voice will turn... x3 Piki has meowed differently as well, now that we've had Viti for some time: more high-pitchedly. I wonder if she's trying to sound as cute as Viti, since Piki uses this new "beeping" meow when she wants treats. She's a sly one...    

Oh, I heard about the CTR news! And it's a good news, indeed! Now that I've gotten used to Mario Kart (which I had never played before meeting Miika), I would like to see how different those two franchises will "feel".    

You're right, sometimes it's better to keep it simple. Thank you for elaborating, the game sounds more intriguing to me now! The level-upping method will be a new thing to me, though. Do you need to constantly buy new Pokeballs? For the sake of my Trainer's wallet, I hope they're cheaper in this game... :''D

Yes, Miika and I booked a table from "Christmassy Artist Alley"! It's not technically a con, just an art and artisan crafts event for young artists. It went quite well (better than last year), though it was a quite quiet Sunday (they hadn't advertised the event much) and according to some whispers, it seemed like people had already bought their Christmas cards elsewhere.
